Saving lives together — by making help closer

Blackpool has defibrillators in many public buildings — but sudden cardiac arrests can happen anywhere. We focus on the gaps: small community centres, local businesses, and neighbourhood spaces, especially after hours.

Tyler’s story

Pulse Project was created in memory of my mother, Natasha, who passed away in 2018 following a sudden cardiac event.

Natasha was a kind and loving woman who faced challenges in her life, as many people do, but she was so much more than those struggles. She was a mother of five, a daughter, a sister, and someone who was deeply loved and is deeply missed.

If a defibrillator had been readily available, and if people nearby had the tools and confidence to respond, there is a chance she might still be here today. That possibility stays with you forever.

Too many lives are lost not because help doesn’t exist, but because it isn’t close enough, accessible enough, or available in time. That is why Pulse Project exists.

Our mission is simple

Put life-saving equipment closer to everyday spaces, and share progress openly so communities can trust the impact.

Why £2,000?

Our goal of £2,000 will fund a complete, publicly accessible installation.

  • A publicly accessible defibrillator
  • A secure, weather-proof cabinet
  • Installation, signage, and registration
This will place a life-saving device directly into a community, where it can serve and protect people for years to come.

Our purpose

I am doing this so families don’t lose their loved ones suddenly and without warning.

So children don’t lose parents.

So families don’t live with the question of “what if help had been closer?”

Pulse Project is about turning loss into action — and making sure life-saving support is there when it’s needed most.

Get involved

You don’t have to donate to help — connecting us to places matters.

Offer a location

Community centre, small venue, local business — if people gather there, it could be ideal.

Business sponsorship

Sponsor a cabinet, signage, or a full installation. Recognition optional.

Share the campaign

Shares help you reach the right people — free support that makes a real difference.

Volunteer support

Help with outreach, posters, emails, or admin. Every skill helps.

Help us place our first defib

One installation can protect a community for years. Donate, share, or offer a location — every action helps.
